Jaguar Day Virtual 5K for You & the Zoo!

Join us for a Virtual 5K EdVenture to Benefit Jaguar Conservation!

November 29th is International Jaguar Day, and if you follow us on any of our social media channels, you know just how special jaguars are to the founders and staff at IE!

So this year, we are planning a Virtual 5K event to help support Jaguar Conservation efforts in Belize through our friends at the Belize Zoo. The event is open to everyone! Just complete a 5K Walk/Run during the week of Nov 27th.

Also on that day we will also be launching our Habitats 4 Jags initiative to help support the efforts of the Belize Zoo in constructing a state-of-the-art jaguar rehabilitation facility (stay tuned for details!). But here is the great news, the proceeds of this Virtual 5K event will be matched 100% to start that campaign!

So get some friends, family, work partners or even the family dog and plan a day outside. Walk, Run…. it doesn’t make a difference! Just know that YOU are making a BIG difference in jaguar conservation!

Registration is simple - just add the registration items from our Special Events store to your cart, fill out the required information, and plan your 5K. We will send you a limited edition shirt as a special thank you for your donation!

Important Information:

  • You must register by 1130pm (EST) on November 28th to receive your race tee-shirt. Shirt will arrive by mail 2-3 weeks after the event.

  • Children must be registered with an adult.

  • You can complete the event anytime before December 1st.

  • We encourage you to post your race or race team to social media, tag us, and use one of the following hashtags:

    #JaguarDay5K

    #Habitats4Jags

Don’t have time for the event, but still want to make a difference?

We can help you!

AND….. we will double your donation!

The link below will bring you to the Belize Zoo’s Donation Page where you can donate or make a charitable contribution.

Please indicate #Habitats4Jags in the comment field to get the matching donation!
