Attendance is limited for this live event. Cost is $10 US per adult, $5 per child or $15 per family. All proceeds benefit the Belize Zoo!

For 5 days this August you will join us on an EdVenture to explore the wonders of the jaguar. Worshipped by the Mayans, and the ambassador for rainforest conservation in Belize, these amazing animals have inspired us over the years, and we want to share that feeling with you.

Our monthly EdVentures for the residents of Appalachian Brain Estates in Boone NC. Virtual Tours of the Belize Raptor Center, Belize Zoo and Tobacco Caye Marine Station!
Raptors Live! at Bellas of Boone
Join us this Saturday as we take a virtual trip to the Belize Raptor Center in San Ignacio Belize to learn more about some amazing birds of prey!
Orange-breasted falcons, kites, hawks and owls will all be featured.
This family-friendly event can be enjoyed by all ages! There will be raffles, prizes and coloring contests for kids!
Proceeds benefit raptor conservation, education and rehabilitation programs at the Center.

We are back at Appalachian Brian Estates in Boone NC for another round of the Belize Zoo Live!
Brews & Beasts at Booneshine Brewery
The next stop on our Belize Zoo Live! Tour is Booneshine Brewery in Boone NC. Come join us for a night of fun while we learn about the amazing wildlife of Belize.
Proceeds from the event will help support the Zoo and their wildlife conservation efforts.
Food will be available for purchase, and of course, some great Booneshine brews!
Boo at the Zoo
Join us for a LIVE virtual tour of The Belize Zoo and enjoy good Italian food while doing so. In this tour, you will see these animals up close and learn about the myths and misconceptions of rainforest animals. This is NOT your typical zoo tour!

This tour will take, Appalachian Brian Estates’ Residents, up close and personal with bees while also giving insight to the day-to-day activities of their beekeeper, Dave.

The Belize Zoo - Live! at Bellas of Boone
Join us for an evening of fun and great Italian food! We will be taking a live virtual tour of the Belize Zoo starting around 6pm. You will see and learn about the wildlife of Belize - including jaguars, tapirs, spider monkeys and more - from the experts at the Zoo. Proceeds from the night will benefit wildlife conservation. Lionfish Live! at Tobacco Caye Marine Station
This event marks Tobacco Caye Marine Station’s third lionfish tournament! During the tournament, registered teams consisting of a boat captain and divers hunt for lionfish throughout the South Water Caye Marine Reserve. Staff and volunteers then count and process the lionfish, gathering data on the invasive species to share with the Belize Fisheries Department, Lionfish Patrol, and Lionfish Central.
