The Inspiration
Our yellow lionfish project sticker is a lionfish made-up of a selection of prey species that we have found inside a lionfish’s fish's stomach, Tobacco Caye Marine Station has conducted over two thousand dissections of lionfish’s stomachs and has found over 40 unique species inside their stomachs. With each purchase of our lionfish project sticker you are helping to fund lionfish tournaments, lionfish jewelry, and helping to fund TCMS’s lionfish bounty where we pay locals from Tobacco Caye to go out and actively hunt lionfish. You are also helping to fund the equipment necessary to safely remove lionfish this includes spears, containment units and sting cream in the unfortunate event if you are stung by one of these highly venomous fish.
